The Continuing Works of Vasco Mucci
JERRY'S RECORDS (PITTSBURGH)Thursday, Apr 24, 2008 12:04 PM Vasco Mucci visits a place where he first frequented as a child with his father. At that time, three generations enjoyed Jerry's records, since many times Vasco's grandfather also joined them. Then it was time spent at Jerry's store in Oakland as his dad picked up krautrock, experimental, psychedelic, jazz, blues and whatever else happened to be on the taste plate. Jerry has been there for many people, helping us all to keep enjoying records and turntables despite the digital movement that would find it difficult to understand how beautiful tubes, horns, a turntable and records do sound. From Oakland to Squirrel Hill in PIttsburgh, Jerry continues to share his space, his evolution from the 70's and his love of vinyl.
