RARE FOOTAGE: SASQUATCH IN CANMORESunday, Jul 13, 2008 1:13 PM  A rare film footage of a sasquatch was filmed in Canmore. A group of Canmore residents, to include Vasco Mucci, came upon sasquatch while walking in the Three Sisters area. "We thought it was a bear coming out of the woods and onto the path," Brad Pele said while recalling the event. "Vasco just turned his camera on and started filming, but we made sure to stand still so we didn't draw attention to us or stir fear." To everyone's surprise was the viewing of a specimen that is so rarely seen. "We were stunned," said Jason Baillie. "I just thought that if we had an archeologist with us that it would be more believable in today's world." The sasquatch moved back into the tree line and wasn't seen again.
