Sound Off: Idling in CanmoreSunday, Jul 13, 2008 1:01 PM  A trip to the recycle bin leads to the topic of idling in Canmore. A paper drop off that takes under 10 seconds has a lady ask why recycle if you are going to idle? What about, why shut the vehicle off for 10 seconds then fire it up to push out more combustion. The idle issue is an interesting one given there is no definition as to who and who cannot idle where, when and how. For example, are we to believe that it's ok to idle then if we are supporting drive through businesses. Furthermore, who is really benefiting from recycling? Hmmm ... Oh, how there is more to things than just what meets the eyes.
