Two Sailors

Sunday, Jul 13, 2008 12:41 PM A poem, written by Steve Rider, is read by the duet of Renshaw and Clench in this episode of Two Sailors' HomoErotica. Their first reading took place during the gay pride parade in Vancouver. Renshaw wanted to read the poem on a float that was designed by his French teacher, but Clench was unable to get on the float. "It was too hard for me!," Clench explained. "I don't care much for hard designs because I grew up appreciating soft edges and contours." Renshaw was understanding of Clench's feelings and stated that he did not put pressure on his partner. "We've been together for a long time now. Sometimes we do have our differences in opinions, but that's what makes it all so much fun. In the end we read the poem with such an emotion. We saw many eyes shedding a tear."
