Mo Hangs With Super Bowl Champions

Friday, Feb 20, 2009 10:32 AM Mo headed from Canmore to Pittsburgh for the 2009 Super Bowl. Earlier in the season Mo got an invite to the Jeff Reed show on the Southside where he hung out with Jeff Talbot and a few other Pens who happened to be at the filming. Mo mentioned the hockey experience in the north and the inexperience as to football in Canada in comparison to the US. Not that there isn't the CFL and the fact that the Stampeders won the Grey Cup, however the majority of players are American. Here too, don't even think high school football in Canada is close to what is in US high schools. Hockey, on the other hand, is a religion in Canada and players are everywhere throughout the provinces and can be found playing at professional and university levels in the US. Later though, and right after the Steelers took out the Cards in the Super Bowl, multiple photographs arrived to surround Mo while he was hanging out with his aunts and grandmother. Unable to move, Mo required assistance to get out of the photos to be able to be at the base of the podium during the Steelers celebration in downtown Pittsburgh. Jingles, a cat, is said to have freed Mo prior to Neil's arrival as a criminal justice major. "I got stuck at the haunted house!" Neil explained. "I would have helped Mo, but the people at the haunted house didn't believe me." Neil wouldn't elaborate as to the specifics surrounding his being at the Scare House since October. "Hey, I'm a criminal justice major and I played football. That's all that matters." Mo had no comment.
